Bru is a Parisian bistro in the Nouvelle Athènes neighborhood, led by chef Julia de Laguarigue, formerly of L'Ami Jean and Le Recho. She delivers classic bistro cuisine elevated by Creole touches, reflecting her Martinique childhood. The short, seasonal menu features carefully sourced, simply prepared dishes: eggs mayo, rillettes, veal blanquette, vitello tonnato with combava, pork colombo, and her signature coconut cake. The restaurant earned a Michelin Bib Gourmand. The minimalist, zen atmosphere features an open kitchen with counter seating and a communal chef's table fostering conviviality, plus a quieter back dining room. A curated selection of natural and organic wines completes the experience.
