For security and privacy reasons (individual activity, no established legal entity), the publisher's complete identity is available upon legitimate request, particularly for:

  • any judicial requisition,
  • administrative request,
  • intellectual property matter,
  • dispute concerning content.

3. Service Purpose

Gatto is a platform — available as a website and an iOS mobile application — for discovering and analyzing Points of Interest (restaurants, cafes, bars, etc.) through:

  • aggregation of public data,
  • editorial signals,
  • data from official platforms,
  • automated analysis,
  • a proprietary scoring model (Gatto Score),
  • AI-generated editorial collections.

The information displayed does not constitute professional advice or formal recommendation.

4. Intellectual Property

The Gatto brand, its logo, interface, texts, design, associated algorithms (including the Gatto Score), and generated content (summaries, collections, classifications) are protected by applicable laws.

Any unauthorized reproduction, distribution, modification, or exploitation is prohibited.

5. Use of Third-Party Guide Names, Labels, and Brands

Gatto may mention names of guides, labels, or publications such as Michelin, Gault&Millau, Le Fooding, Time Out, Les Échos, etc.

These names and brands remain the exclusive property of their holders.

Gatto:

  • is not affiliated, validated, approved, or sponsored by any of these organizations;
  • does not use any protected logo, icon, pictogram, or graphic element belonging to these brands;
  • only uses generic, neutral icons that are not similar to official symbols;
  • limits itself to factual information (e.g., number of toques, stars, ratings, public mentions).

No protected visual element (Michelin logo, Gault&Millau toque, official favicon, specific star, etc.) is reproduced in Gatto.

6. Neutrality, Objectivity, and Non-Discrimination

The Gatto Score and associated rankings are produced automatically, based on public, objective, and measurable signals (editorial mentions, freshness, Google rating, review volume, confirmed awards, etc.).

Gatto guarantees that:

  • no establishment is favored or disadvantaged for sensitive reasons (origin, nationality, religion, cuisine type, social status, etc.);
  • no discrimination occurs in the algorithm;
  • no compensation, partnership, or commercial contribution influences the ranking;
  • the rankings do not express any personal or subjective opinion.

7. Compliance with robots.txt and Terms of Use

Gatto strictly respects:

  • robots.txt files,
  • third-party site terms of use,
  • official APIs used (Google Places API, Mapbox, etc.),
  • rate limits and access rules.

No protection bypass, prohibited scraping, or unauthorized access is performed.

All mention URLs displayed come exclusively from Google SERP, in accordance with authorized practices.

8. Data Accuracy

Information (ratings, hours, awards, prices, mentions, citations) comes from public sources subject to change. Gatto strives to ensure their accuracy, without being able to guarantee it at all times.

Gatto may contain links to third-party sites.

Gatto is not responsible for:

  • the content of these sites,
  • their availability,
  • their operation,
  • their privacy policies.

10. Service Availability

The service (website and mobile application) is accessible 24/7, except for interruptions due to maintenance or force majeure.

Gatto does not guarantee permanent availability or complete absence of errors.

11. Terms of Use

11.1 Service Access and User Account

All of Gatto's discovery features (interactive map, search, place details, rankings, collections) are accessible without creating an account, on all platforms (website and iOS mobile application).

Creating an account is optional and only required to access account-based features, such as saving favorites. These features require authentication because they involve storing personal data associated with a user identifier.

11.2 Acceptance

By accessing and using Gatto, you accept these terms in their entirety. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

11.3 User Obligations

Users agree to:

  • use the service lawfully and in good faith,
  • not attempt to disrupt, hack, or overload the service,
  • not use automated tools to scrape or extract data,
  • not attempt to decompile, disassemble, or reverse-engineer the mobile application,
  • not impersonate another person or entity,
  • use the Share Extension for personal purposes only,
  • provide accurate information when creating an account.

11.4 Account Suspension or Termination

Gatto reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these terms, without prior notice. Users may delete their own account at any time.

11.5 Limitation of Liability

Gatto is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for:

  • inaccuracies in displayed information,
  • service interruptions or unavailability,
  • decisions made based on the information provided,
  • third-party content linked from the service.

11.6 Modifications

These terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Applicable Law

These legal notices are interpreted according to the law applicable to the user, with a preference for:

  • French law,
  • European law (GDPR) regarding data protection.
