UKIYO RAMEN
Ramen restaurant — Quartier Saint Georges (Paris)
About
Ukiyo Ramen is a Japanese restaurant in Pigalle offering authentic ramen revisited with creativity. Run by young couple Céline Li and Guillaume Lam, the establishment stands out for its fresh noodles made daily using a custom machine imported from Japan. Chef Guillaume, trained in Michelin-starred kitchens and at Yamato school in Japan, crafts sapid broths simmered using traditional methods, combining noble French products (Pata Negra pork, farm chicken, Breton sardines) with Japanese techniques. The colorful and joyful ambiance, with pink banquettes and blue walls, contrasts with the refined codes of classical Japanese restaurants. Beyond signature ramens like the Ukiyo Ramen land-sea or Golden Shoyu, the house offers donburis, creative small plates, and refined homemade desserts.
