Sanjo is a ramen restaurant founded by Japanese fashion designer Kaito Hori, located on the edge of Paris's Little Tokyo. Led by chefs Ryoun Komatsu and Takamasa Hayatsu, this venue offers a refined take on Japanese street food. The minimalist, raw décor features exposed stone, open kitchen with white tiles, and large bay windows. The menu highlights traditional ramen with carefully crafted broths (tonkotsu, vegan, yuzu shio), complemented by izakaya-style small plates such as steamed gyozas and crispy karaage chicken. Noodles are made in-house. The beverage selection emphasizes sake, Japanese beers, and natural wines. An establishment where authentic Japanese cuisine meets contemporary, understated atmosphere.
