About
Tucked away in Belleville's winding streets, Chez Ramona is a family Spanish restaurant that has become a local institution. This authentic grocery-restaurant offers a warm and nostalgic culinary experience, where traditional Spanish cuisine is prepared with passion by Ramona and her daughter. The establishment stands out with its unique decor, a colorful jumble of memories accumulated since the 1960s, featuring shelves overflowing with Iberian products and walls adorned with family photos, paintings, and knick-knacks. The house paella is the signature dish, generously prepared and served with an authenticity that transports diners directly to Spain. A place where conviviality, authentic flavors, and family history converge in an intimate and warm atmosphere.

716lavie.com “The alleys of Belleville are a delightful mishmash, a labyrinth of little streets full of cafés that welcome night owls and lost souls. Among these there is Chez Ramona, the grand old lady of rue Ramponeau, and her restaurant is a local legend.”
