Amalyne is an authentic Lebanese street food restaurant located on rue Nationale in Lille. Founded by Joe Bou Jaoude, a passionate Lebanese entrepreneur, the establishment specializes in man'ouché, the famous Levantine flatbread. The restaurant features a unique stone oven imported from Lebanon—one of only two in the world—ensuring traditional preparation identical to Lebanese methods. Recipes were developed with a Lebanese chef and validated by Lebanese home cooks. Amalyne offers 8 varieties of man'ouchés (meat, chicken, falafels, cheese, spinach) plus a classic mezze selection featuring hummus, baba ghannoush, tabbouleh, and falafel. Ingredients are 90% French, prioritizing local sourcing while maintaining Levantine authenticity. The warm and welcoming atmosphere reflects genuine Lebanese hospitality and the owner's passion for sharing his culinary heritage.
