Red Poppy is an immersive cocktail bar located in Paris's 13th arrondissement, transporting visitors to 1920s Shanghai. Created by Mei Ho, a former pastry chef who worked in prestigious Parisian hotels, the establishment offers innovative cocktails inspired by Chinese legends, using ingredients like Pu Erh tea, ginseng, and baijiu. The venue features two spaces: a main bar with carefully designed decor reminiscent of a pagoda, and a secret speakeasy called Shanghai Surprise, open from 10 PM to 2 AM. The cocktail menu is a true gustatory journey, with creations like Chang E, blending kumquats, Sichuan pepper, and osmanthus flower. A unique spot combining precise mixology and cultural immersion.
