Le Petit Ney is an associative literary café created and run by neighborhood residents in the Porte Montmartre area since 1994. Far more than a simple café, it is a genuine community gathering place offering simple family-friendly meals, diverse cultural workshops, and a rich monthly program centered on storytelling and oral traditions. The association welcomes families with a dedicated children's space (Poussiney), organizes writing, music, and sewing workshops, and regularly hosts "Contes & paroles libres" (Tales & Free Speech) evenings.
