Néanmoins, il faut payer au fur et à mesure des commandes (et commander au comptoir), ce qui n'est pas pratique ni convivial. C'est dommage car cela freine l'enthousiasme malgré des produits de qualité et bien sourcés. Le service est du genre arrogant. A faire pour une pizza sur le pouce en petit comité voire seul(e) au comptoir (l'espace n'est vraiment pas grand). This is not your typical Italian trattoria, in fact, best not even call it Italian — it’s Neapolitan! This super instagrammable street food spot serves up delicious pizzas and sides made with ingredients brought in fresh from Naples. Situated in the lively Montorgueil neighborhood of Paris, just next to the Passage du Grand Cerf and around the corner from loads of buzzing bars, Dalmata is a great place to have a quick, quality meal. When you walk through the door, the first thing you’ll see is the impressive silver-tiled Neopolitan oven cooking up perfectly spotted pizzas. Why spotted you ask? Well, following the Neapolitan tradition, their pizza’s puffy crust gets dark spots on it. Hence the name Dalmata — ‘Dalmatian’ in Italian. Look around and you’ll quickly realize that the whole restaurant plays off this Dalmatian theme. Lunch and dinner services are each limited to 101 pizzas (there’s even a counter to keep track!) and nearly everything is black and white, with the exception of the neon pink lights giving the whole place a fun, hip vibe. Once you’ve taken it all in and said “buongiorno” to one of the friendly pizzaiolos, have a look over the menu and then place your order at the end of the white marble counter. I personally recommend the Queen Margherita. You can get your food to go, but grab a table if you can, and wait just a few short minutes for your order to be called. Then, mangia mangia!
