Regardless of what you’re after, this coffee shop–restaurant is sure to put a smile on your face. Enjoy delicious empanadas à midi, come for an espresso and sweets (and to get some work done) in the afternoon, or stop in for un cafe et un concert in the evening. Whatever time you come, Léa and Andrés will welcome you with a smile and make you feel right at home. This cute, cozy, quiet coffee shop is just a block or two from the Gare de Nord and is definitely worth the walk or the short bus ride if you have a bit of time before or after your train. Set up like a homey Scandinavian-design-inspired apartment, as soon as you see the spot, you’ll want to curl up on the couch and stay there all day. “Happy Food & Coffee” is their motto, and they definitely don’t disappoint. The international couple behind the counter (and the business) makes their food and lattes with love. Léa is French and Andrés Colombian, and as they met in the United States, you can get by speaking French, Spanish, or English here. Something to put you even more at ease. The adorable and airy-but-intimate café serves homemade empanadas — as I mentioned, can you tell how much I liked them?! — arepas, guacamole, and other savory Colombian specialities, and for those with a sweet tooth, they also offer up yummy cakes, cookies, a delicious banana bread, and more, all fait maison. Their speciality Colombian coffee is roasted on-site, and en plus, everything is very affordable! Friday nights, Léandrés hosts acoustic concerts and on the weekends, it’s Colombian brunch for just 16€. Needless to say, this is a great spot to spend a few hours working on your laptop, catching up with a friend, or just sipping on a coffee and enjoying some live music. It feels like sitting at your kitchen table but better — you get great coffee and food, and you don’t have to do the dishes!

Dans ce coffee shop chaleureux à deux pas de Gare du Nord, Léa (la Frenchie) et Andrés (le Colombien) ont créé plus qu'un restaurant colombien - un véritable refuge pour les toutous parisiens ! Dès que vous franchissez la porte de ce petit coin de paradis à la déco très cosy, votre poilu se voit offrir sa propre gamelle d'eau, servie avec autant de soin que leur café torréfié sur place. L'équipe est complètement gaga des chiens et n'hésite pas à les choyer pendant que vous savourez les spécialités colombiennes qui ont fait la réputation du lieu. Pendant que l'équipe gagatisent sur votre bestie, offrez-vous leurs arepas qui déchirent, leurs empanadas qui croustillent (3 pour 9,50€, la bonne affaire !) ou leur banana bread qui fait pleurer de bonheur. LE WEEK-END, C'EST FIESTA AVEC LEUR FAMEUX BRUNCH COLOMBIEN À 22€ QUI COMPREND UNE AREPA GARNIE, DEUX EMPANADAS, UNE SALADE COMPOSÉE, UN JUS DE FRUIT FRAIS, UNE BOISSON CHAUDE ET UNE DOUCEUR POUR TERMINER. Un conseil d'ami : malgré la tentation, ne cédez pas au regard suppliant de votre chien quand vous dégustez le guacamole maison. L'avocat, c'est comme une relation toxique - délicieux pour nous, mais pas bon pour eux ! Avec son Wi-Fi performant et son atmosphère de salon particulier, c'est l'endroit idéal pour télétravailler tout en gardant votre compagnon près de vous.
